Half our team has a strong aversion to all things technology & being on the internet all the time is NOT their jam.
(It’s a miracle we all still love each other!)
Slowly, we all (even the tech grumpy half) recognized that there was something to gain from creating space online to support the experiences people are having out there, in the tactile world.
Is it possible to run courses, host events, share ideas, and build knowledge together online that fuels people's aliveness off-screen? Honestly, we were skeptical, and what we have seen is that it’s not just possible - but that it works!
We are here in service of conversations that shape the future, and we recognize that the quality of those conversations matters.
Can we create a human-designed future together, one conversation at a time?
We recognize that as a place of gathering and education, it is the work of FAM to hold space for conversations that explore and expand and our understanding of what it means to be human. Welcoming everyone to our space regardless of their education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
As an organization dedicated to creating community and supporting personal leadership and collective growth, we stand into the task of unlearning systems and ways of being that do not support equity and do not allow people to thrive.
We are calling for and working towards structural change and recognize the countless voices of individuals and
organizations that are doing the same. We humbly add our voice to this chorus and know we probably won’t get the words right every time.
